joy is not a betrayal of love.
Even bare branches can bloom.
Magnolia Rising
Grief Coaching by Tara Porter
Grief changes you.
It reshapes the way you move through the world, the way you see yourself, and the way you hold the people and things you’ve lost.
And for a while, it can feel like everything is heavy.
Like you're carrying something no one else can quite see.
Like you're supposed to “be okay” when you're anything but.
You don’t have to do that here.
At Magnolia Rising, this is a space where grief is met with honesty, compassion, and room to breathe. There’s no timeline, no fixing, and no expectation that you should be anywhere other than exactly where you are.
Because healing isn’t about leaving your grief behind.
It’s about learning how to carry it… and slowly, gently, finding your way back to yourself.
And maybe, somewhere along the way—
we make space for moments that feel like you again.
Even here, there is still life.
On Fridays, We Dance
Somewhere along the way, in the middle of grief, I started dancing.
Not because everything was okay—
but because it wasn’t.
Because sometimes the only way to move what you’re feeling… is to actually move.
What started as a small, personal ritual became something more.
A reminder that even in the heaviest seasons, there can still be moments of lightness. Of release. Of feeling alive again.
That spirit lives here too.
You don’t have to wait until your grief is gone to feel those moments.
You’re allowed to hold both.
And when you’re ready… we’ll find your rhythm together.
